  • The Workshop | The Heart of Storytelling

    In its first ever boudoir focused workshop, Funk You Workshop brings you an unforgettable experience for those who are interested in taking their storytelling to the next level in their craft.

    Whether your focus is on couple’s boudoir or boudoir photography in general, you’ll be able to seamlessly apply all the knowledge you learn immediately into your practice as an artist.

    With such an intimate group of funkers attending, I will be right by your side creating masterpieces along the way to show you just how I make whoever steps in front of my camera so comfortable.

  • Investment | Availability

    $2000

    A $1000 non-refundable retainer is due at the time of signing the proposal. The remainder is split up into (2) $500 monthly payments leading up to the workshop.

    Pay in FULL at the time of signing the proposal and receive $250 off

    Pay in Installments: (4) monthly payments of $625

Meet your funker - Chuy

With only 7 years of being a photographer, I have over 20 years of experience as an artist. Thankful for the life photography has blessed me with, I have devoted majority of it to creating passionate storytelling with all of my funkers.

After 2 years of stepping away as an educator, I am finally back and ready to show you funkers a glimpse into my world as an artist and share with you everything that I know!

And just like anyone else (even after all these years), I still get nervous to my stomach when I’m about to create a new masterpiece and I still get all giddy and excited when I know I got the shot (you know the feeling).

One of my favorite parts of the entire creative process with my funkers is, post-production. I know so many creatives out there who despise editing. me on the either hand, thrive during this process. I graduated college with my degree in studio art, with concentration in oil painting. So whenever I’m editing, it feels like I’m painting this digital photographic masterpiece and bringing it all to life. 

It excites the funk out me putting the final chef’s kiss touch to every single photograph!

  • there will be (2) never before seen styled boudoir masterpiece sessions for you to document alongside me and the rest of the funkers for your portfolio.

    there will be plenty of opportunities for everyone to have individual time with our models to photograph and connect with.

  • unfortunately, no. tickets are non-refundable but they can be transferred to another attendee.

  • yes. we are going past an 8hr day and going for 12hrs together. so make sure you have plenty of sleep the night before!

    i always want to be extremely mindful and respectful of your time and energy. i have created an informative and practical schedule where you will leave this experience creating art like never before and feeling rejuvenated with your passion for creating art!

    for a small fee, all tattoos will be done after the workshop schedule ends (9pm). or, if you plan to stay a while in the desert and if i’m available, we can schedule your tattoo on a later day that week!
